Favorite 2012 Fall Semester Photo

This was my favorite picture from the 2012 Fall Semester. I edited it with a little bit of added saturation and contrast. I like the contrast when looking at the door because I think it gives a sort of scary/ dark perspective of this broken down building. I also like the reflection on the window. My overall favorite aspect of this picture is the fact that there is a lot of texture, but unlike some pictures it comes with a lot of colors to accompany it.

This photograph was taken and hand painted by a man named Norm Darwish. His work seems to be excellent quality with extreme attention to detail. The whole picture is colored in beautifully and presents a much better looking photograph in my opinion than it would have been in black and white. This style and feel of color gives the photo a certain uniqueness that cannot be found in many other places. Norm truly has created an art medium of his own.
